Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga Instructor

We are seeking a compassionate, knowledgeable, and inspiring Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga Instructor to join our team and help guide expecting and new parents through safe, empowering, and mindful movement.

Position Overview
As a Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga Instructor, you will lead safe, engaging, and inclusive yoga classes designed to support participants through pregnancy and postpartum recovery. You will create a warm, welcoming environment where students feel supported physically, emotionally, and mentally.
Classes may include:
• Prenatal Yoga
• Postnatal Yoga
• Baby & Me Yoga
• Mom & Baby Movement Classes
• Workshops and special community events
Scheduling is flexible and based on studio programming, including weekday mornings, evenings, and weekends.
Responsibilities
• Lead safe and engaging prenatal and postnatal yoga classes for all experience levels.
• Modify poses and provide appropriate options throughout pregnancy and postpartum recovery.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive community where students feel comfortable and connected.
• Incorporate breathwork, mindfulness, relaxation, and pelvic floor awareness into classes.
• Build positive relationships with students and help create a welcoming studio environment.
• Arrive early to prepare the studio and remain after class to answer questions and connect with students.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional teaching space.
• Participate in occasional workshops, community events, and studio promotions.
Qualifications
• Minimum 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification (RYT 200 or equivalent).
• Prenatal and/or Postnatal Yoga Teacher Training required.
• Experience teaching prenatal or postnatal yoga is preferred.
• Knowledge of pregnancy modifications, postpartum recovery, and safe movement practices.
• CPR/First Aid Certification is an asset.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for supporting growing families and creating meaningful community connections.
• Professional, dependable, and enthusiastic.
