About the team

Our Technology team is the backbone of the business, building and maintaining the information technology infrastructure that support Coles Group. As a part of the Technology team, you get the opportunity to work through complex, challenging, meaningful problems using large data sets and new technologies to expand your skills and experience.


About the role:


The Practice Manager is responsible for the successful running and continual uplifting of the Architecture practice, optimising resource management, forecasting utilisation and refining our ways of working to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.



Key responsibilities:


Help standardise AD goal setting for Architecture teams
Review inbound packs to forums, ensure quality and consistency, match to templates ensure outcomes are clear and aligned to principals
Assist in governance forums where required
Track metrics for AD for teams/individuals
Lead, manage and deliver internal architecture initiatives and team improvement
Provide regular feedback and coaching to foster individual and team success
Review and report on metrics around things like mandatory compliance training, meeting AD goals, Training completion, recoverability targets etc.

About you and your skills:


Proven experience in a leadership role within a technology architecture team
Strong understanding of technology trends, architecture principles, standards, project architecture governance and best practices
Excellent communication, influencing and leadership skills
Proficiency in project management and project delivery lifecycle
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Reporting and analytics skills would be desirable
Experience with working in large organisations across multiple teams.
Experience leading teams of highly skilled IT professionals
