This is a full time permanent position working Monday to Friday and some saturdays as well

roles and responsibilities:

Meet and greet patients, customers, suppliers and practice staff
Manage all incoming phone calls for the practice
Schedule patient appointments and perform follow-up confirmation communication
Communicate bookings and patient needs with Dental staff
Maintain practice and office supplies, including the ordering of stock
Prepare documented treatment plans for patients
Process payments, health insurance rebates and other claims
Maintain patient records and other computer systems and databases
Prepare correspondence as directed
Coordinate marketing and finance activities as directed
Bank reconciliations
Bookkeeping functions including processing timesheets
Preparing and checking fees for accuracy, including but not limited to, ensuring fees are allocated to the correct patient.
Staff and Operations Coordination: Oversees staff scheduling and daily operations to ensure the clinic runs efficiently and effectively.
Financial Administration: Handles billing processes, including claims for national health schemes, private billing, banking, and managing outstanding accounts.
Service Improvement: Leads initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality and effectiveness of healthcare services delivered by the practice.
System and Policy Management: Establishes and manages administrative procedures, IT systems, and practice policies to support operational needs.
Practice Promotion: May develop and execute marketing plans to increase the practice’s visibility and attract new patients.
About you

You are a dedicated, energetic and true leader who enjoys responsibility, autonomy and accountability and wants to utilise your capabilities to add value to our business and build your career with us at Lincoln Dental.

We are seeking Practice Manager who will be responsible for all aspects of the running of the dental practice such as; rostering, reporting, process improvements and sales as well as customer and staff engagement targets. Above all, you must model exceptionally high quality patient care and support the team of Dental Assistants, leading them in a positive and engaging manner.

You have:

Past dental manager experience
Leadership skills including the ability to motivate and inspire those around you
The ability to build relationships quickly and easily
Sound business and commercial acumen with experience in working to set targets, KPI's or willingness to expand on your knowledge
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make difficult decisions
Demonstrated experience in effective people management - from employee rostering and leave management through to coaching and mentoring, performance management, training and recruitment
Ideally experience in the Dental industry
exceptional knowledge of D4w and Exact.
