About the Position: This position is located at the 42nd Medical Group, Maxwell Air Force Base This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes. ['Perform tasks such as recording vital signs, ordering labs, tracking patient’s laboratory, radiology orders and referral results to completion, and assisting in making future appointments.', 'Perform direct nursing care to clinic patients via telemedicine, virtual, and face-to-face care to include triage, procedures, nurse-managed protocols, medication management, and administrative duties.', 'Administer prescribed medications with increased independence, ensuring proper patient dosages, routes, and times are followed.', 'Assist in counseling and educating patients to include, but not limited to diet, personal hygiene, acute or chronic illness, wellness/preventative health measures, normal development, immunizations, and demonstrating proper use of medical devices.', 'Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective management of patient medications.', 'Assist in performing and managing medical procedures, physical examinations, and treatments.', 'Prepare patients for procedures, such as wound care, catheterizations, and respiratory therapies, under the guidance of a registered nurse or licensed medical practitioner.', 'Monitor patient responses during and after procedures, ensuring that any complications are addressed promptly.']
