PostgreSQL and MongoDB Database Administrator

Postgresql DBA + Mongo DB Postgres MongoDB JD Postgres MongoDB JD for P3 level Job Responsibilities PostgreSQL Database Administrator will be providing technical and operational support for activities of Database Servers including installation troubleshooting performance monitoring tuning and optimizing Minimum Three 3 years of experience with PostgreSQL version 10 up till latest version hosted on Onpremises and Cloud Platform Install monitor and maintain PostgreSQL implement monitoring and ing implement backup and recovery processes provide system and SQL performance tuning Min two 2 years of experience as a PostgreSQL database administrator deploying PostgreSQL databases on Cloud platforms such as Azure Cloud Environment AWS Strong Knowledge in IaaS PaaS cloud database environment and configuration Programming languages such as UNIX shell scripting PLpgSQL Python or Perl experience Two 2 years of experience with PostgreSQL native tools like pgAdmin pgAudit pgBadger pgPool pSQL Estimate PostgreSQL database capacities develop methods for monitoring database capacity and usage Must have experience in PostgreSQL database architecture logical and physical design automation documentation installs shell scripting PL SQL programming catalog navigation query tuning system tuning resource contention analysis backup and recovery standby replication etc Strong understanding of command line and server administration Participate in the creation of development staging and production database instances and the migration from one environment to another Hands on experience in regular maintenance on databases eg Vacuum Reindexing Archiving Handson knowledge in proactive remediation of database operational problems Ability to proactively identify troubleshoot and resolve live database systems issues MongoDB Skills Extensive experience with MongoDB installation configuration and management Proficiency in MongoDB query language and performance optimization Experience with backup restore and disaster recovery procedures Ability to monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues Familiarity with NoSQL database principles and architecture Knowledge of data modelling and schema design for MongoDB Experience with replica sets sharding and scaling MongoDB clusters Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python Bash or similar Understanding of cloudbased MongoDB services eg MongoDB Atlas Desirable Secondary Skills Experience with other NoSQL databases like Cassandra Couchbase etc Familiarity with database migration tools and ETL processes Understanding of DevOps practices and tools eg Docker Kubernetes Knowledge of SQL databases such as MySQL Oracle SQL etc Experience with data warehousing and big data technologies Experience with EDB Postgres PgEdge PgVector etc Soft Skills Strong analytical and problemsolving skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Attention to detail and a proactive approach Ability to work independently and in a team environment Effective time management and organizational skills Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies
