• The role is for a Technical Delivery Manager within Barclays UK Risk, Finance and Treasury and is a permanent position. The individual will lead a team comprising of SI partner resources and will focus on Technical Deliveries on the program
• The role played by the individual will ensure that Barclays complies with the BCBS 23+ principles and meets regulatory requirement.
What will you be doing
• Build and Maintain the Programme delivery roadmap and ensure timely execution of the same with maximum of +/- 2% variance
• Build out the assets and delivery capabilities that will enable delivery against the project's design principles tracked and managed by the delivery plan
• Maintain accurate book of financial records of the programme - Plan and Estimates, Revised Annual Forecasts, Variance Analysis and Monthly budgetary reviews - ensure project is NEVER overspent and ensure E2E communication with group programme
• Manage Risks, Issues, Assumptions and Dependencies of the programme
• Manage large change delivery teams across multiple geographic locations and enable Agile delivery where applicable.
• Align to the PCB standard Design and Data led LEAN and Agile delivery methods - Barclays flavours will be an asset but industry standard knowledge alone will suffice
• Foster team spirit among colleagues in various geographical locations, participating in and contributing to programme and technical discussions
• Management of project finances.
• Successful Transition of projects into BAU with appropriate treatment of residual risks
• Delivery of technical project/programme E2E work streams to meet project targets and KPIs
What we're looking for:
• Graduate in any specialization
• Expertise on SAS, DI studio and good understanding of ETL technologies like Ab Initio / Informatica.
• Prior experience of leading tech delivery teams & working within a team of technical people
