Job Description for PMS Channel and Direct Sales:
Job Summary: As a PMS Channel and Direct Sales Manager, you will lead a team focused on expanding the company's market reach and revenue generation through both channel partners and direct sales efforts. Your role will involve building and managing relationships with channel partners, as well as overseeing direct sales activities. This position requires a strategic mindset, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of portfolio management solutions and financial services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Channel Partner Management:
● Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners such as financial institutions, wealth management firms, and advisory services.
● Develop and nurture strong relationships with channel partners, providing training, support, and resources to ensure effective promotion and sales of the PMS solutions.
● Collaborate with channel partners to create joint marketing and sales initiatives to maximize market penetration.
• Direct Sales Team Leadership:
● Lead and manage a team of direct sales representatives, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve sales targets.
● Set performance expectations, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback to the team.
• Sales Strategy and Planning:
● Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that includes both channel and direct sales approaches.
● Identify target markets, customer segments, and growth opportunities, and align sales efforts accordingly.
• Customized Solution Development:
● Collaborate with product and technical teams to customize PMS solutions based on market feedback and client needs.
● Ensure that sales representatives are equipped with the necessary product knowledge to address client inquiries effectively.
• Relationship Building:
● Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, addressing their needs and fostering long-term partnerships.
● Work closely with the direct sales team to nurture prospects through the sales cycle.
• Sales Process Management:
● Oversee the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing deals.
● Monitor and manage sales pipelines, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely follow-up.
• Market Intelligence:
● Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging market opportunities.
● Provide insights and recommendations for product enhancements and improvements based on market feedback.
• Sales Reporting and Analysis:
● Prepare regular sales reports, performance metrics, and forecasts for management review.
● Analyze sales data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications and Experience:
● Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (Masters preferred).
● 10plus years of experience in handling the Sales/Business development/Fundraising in Allied industries (Wealth Management / PMS / AIF)
● Proven experience in both channel and direct sales, preferably in the financial software or investment industry.
● Lead the fund-raising functions for the AIF and PMS business through a network of wealth management firms, multi-family office advisors, distribution partners, and independent financial advisors.
- Manage distribution Sales for location and handle top key relationships for product focusing PMS & AIF, Manage key relationship distributor, direct clients, UHNIs and Family office.
- Designing, Developing & implementing data to provide solution to improve sales number & increase AUM for AIF & PMS
