Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lead Plumber to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for running installation, repair and maintenance jobs on plumbing systems across various commercial and residential construction sites. Your expertise in plumbing, mechanical systems, and construction techniques will ensure that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances according to blueprints and schematics
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure precise installation and modifications
Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to complete tasks effectively
Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols
Leading and deligating to team members to ensure project timelines are met and quality standards are maintained
Conducting inspections of plumbing systems for leaks or issues; troubleshoot mechanical problems as needed
Assist in remodeling, maintenance work, and other field service activities related to plumbing systems
Qualifications
Valid Journeyman Plumber license, Masters Plumbing license or equivalent certification with 5+ years proven experience in construction plumbing
Extensive hands-on experience with construction site work, pipe threading, welding, and blueprint reading
Strong mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems, schematics, and general building infrastructure
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, carpentry basics, and handyman skills for various installation tasks
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to pipe sizing and layout
Knowledge of construction safety standards and ability to work effectively on construction sites with heavy machinery and equipment
Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience preferred for site travel
