Responsibilities
Assist experienced plumbers with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems according to project specifications and blueprints. Handle a variety of hand tools and power tools safely to cut, assemble, and install pipes and fixtures. Support pipe threading, fitting, and schematics interpretation to ensure precise installation. Help with the setup and cleanup of construction sites, ensuring safety standards are met at all times. Participate in remodeling, maintenance tasks, and basic carpentry work related to plumbing projects. Read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements and assist in layout planning. Contribute to the assembly of plumbing components, HVAC systems, or related mechanical equipment as needed.
Qualifications
Previous experience in construction or field service environments is preferred but not required; we value eagerness to learn! Basic knowledge of construction plumbing, pipe threading, hand tools, power tools, and schematics is highly desirable. Familiarity with welding, HVAC systems, carpentry, or handyman work will be considered a plus. Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while working safely on busy construction sites. Strong mechanical aptitude with basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward supporting project goals. Physical ability to stand, lift heavy materials, and perform manual tasks throughout the workday.
