Plumbing / HVAC Service Supervisor
We are looking for an experienced Plumbing / HVAC Service Supervisor to join our growing service team.
We are looking for a senior plumbing/HVAC service professional who can lead field technicians, perform job walks, assist with estimates, and help oversee commercial service work from diagnosis through completion.
This is a key position for someone with strong hands-on field experience, estimating ability, and the confidence to help manage service jobs properly from start to finish.
Responsibilities
Oversee plumbing and HVAC service jobs in the field
Assist with estimates, proposals, job walks, material takeoffs, and scope reviews
Diagnose plumbing, heating, and HVAC issues
Support technicians with troubleshooting, planning, and job execution
Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and scheduling needs
Communicate clearly with customers, facility managers, office staff, and management
Review photos, notes, and job details for accuracy
Ensure work is completed safely, professionally, and to company standards
Help train and guide junior mechanics and technicians
Identify additional work needed while onsite and report findings properly
Help reduce callbacks and improve job quality
Requirements
Extensive plumbing and/or HVAC service experience
Strong estimating, job costing, or field quoting experience
Foreman, lead mechanic, senior technician, or service management experience preferred
Strong troubleshooting skills
Commercial service experience strongly preferred
Ability to lead technicians and manage field work
Ability to read site conditions, job notes, photos, and basic plans
Comfortable communicating with customers and facility managers
Valid driver’s license
Reliable, professional, organized, and detail-oriented
Experience Preferred
Commercial plumbing service
Commercial HVAC service
Boilers, water heaters, pumps, gas piping, drain lines, sewer/ejector systems
Rooftop units, split systems, condensate systems, leak checks, and preventive maintenance
Retail, restaurant, medical, or multi-site commercial accounts
Estimating, quoting, proposal writing, or project coordination
Major Plus
NYC Licensed Master Plumber
Journeyman-level plumbing experience
Strong HVAC troubleshooting background
Experience managing service technicians
Schedule
Full-time
Monday to Friday
Overtime available
Occasional rotating on-call / emergency service coverage may be required
Compensation
Pay based on experience.
Strong compensation available for the right candidate with proven field, estimating, leadership, and commercial service experience.
