Job Description
The Plumbing Draftsman will be responsible for preparing detailed plumbing, drainage and water supply shop drawings, coordination drawings and as-built drawings for MEP projects. The candidate must have strong technical knowledge of plumbing systems and UAE construction practices.
## Key Responsibilities
* Prepare shop drawings for domestic water supply, hot water, drainage, stormwater, irrigation and condensate drainage systems.
* Prepare plumbing layouts, riser diagrams, schematics, sections and installation details.
* Develop pump room, water tank, drainage room and plant room layouts.
* Prepare coordinated drawings with HVAC, electrical, fire protection, architectural and structural services.
* Review contract drawings, specifications, BOQ, equipment schedules and consultant requirements.
* Prepare builder’s work drawings, sleeve layouts, core-cutting drawings and trench details.
* Coordinate pipe routing, levels, slopes, invert levels and equipment connections.
* Incorporate consultant comments and site modifications into revised drawings.
* Prepare as-built drawings based on actual site installations.
* Ensure drawings comply with UAE authority requirements, local plumbing codes and project specifications.
