Job Description
Start your plumbing career with Silent-Aire, a leader in equipment manufacturing. This role focuses on assisting Journeyperson Plumbers in installation and repairs, ensuring excellent service in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
As a Plumbing Apprentice at Silent-Aire, you will directly support experienced plumbers in the essential tasks of installation and maintenance of plumbing systems. This position requires a Registered Apprentice in Alberta who is enrolled in a recognized trade school. Key skills include the ability to braze copper pipe, experience with PVC pipe, and proficiency in using hand and power tools.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist Journeyperson Plumbers with plumbing installations
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment
• Keep up-to-date with plumbing technology trends
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Requirements:
• Registered Plumbing Apprentice in Alberta
• Enrollment in a recognized trade school
• Problem-solving and organizational skills
• Ability to lift materials up to 35 lbs
• Experience with electrical maintenance is an asset
