Job Description
The Plumber will be responsible for maintaining and ensuring the efficient operation of all plumbing systems across the hotel. The role supports the hotel’s commitment to luxury hospitality, sustainability, and eco-friendly practices, ensuring uninterrupted guest comfort and compliance with brand standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including water supply lines, drainage systems, fixtures, and fittings across guest rooms and public areas.
Ensure uninterrupted water supply and proper functioning of sewage and drainage systems.
Attend and resolve guest complaints and maintenance requests promptly with a service-oriented approach.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns.
Identify leaks, blockages, or inefficiencies and take corrective action immediately.
Support water conservation initiatives in line with Fern’s eco-sensitive philosophy.
Maintain records of maintenance work, materials used, and daily logbooks.
Coordinate with housekeeping and front office teams to ensure minimal disruption to guests.
Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and environmental standards.
Assist in audits, inspections, and sustainability initiatives as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
ITI Certification or Diploma in Plumbing or relevant trade.
0–1 years of experience in plumbing, preferably in hotels or luxury hospitality environments.
Knowledge of modern plumbing systems, water management, and eco-friendly practices.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong troubleshooting and maintenance skills
Guest-centric approach with prompt service attitude
Awareness of sustainability and water conservation practices
Ability to work in a team environment
Good communication and coordination skills
Working Conditions:
Rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays
Physically demanding role requiring mobility and manual work
May involve working in confined or technical areas
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹19,000.00 per month
