We're now looking for a highly organised and proactive Planning & Operations Coordinator to join our office team in Liversedge. Reporting directly to our Senior Accounts Manager, you'll play a vital role in planning and coordinating traffic management services across the UK, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and to the highest standards.

Job Summary

This is a fast-paced and varied office-based role where no two days are the same. You'll be responsible for planning works across the UK, coordinating resources, liaising with clients and operational teams, scheduling jobs, maintaining planning records, and supporting the successful delivery of our traffic management contracts.

You'll be an integral part of the business, helping to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and with excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and coordinate traffic management works across the UK.
Schedule and book jobs into our planning systems.
Liaise with clients, operational teams, local authorities, and external stakeholders.
Assist with the coordination of Street Works permits and associated documentation.
Maintain and update operational spreadsheets, planning records, and databases.
Produce reports and supporting information relating to crew and contract performance.
Support other departments with administrative and operational tasks as required.
Resolve planning and scheduling issues while maintaining excellent customer service.
Ensure all documentation and operational records are accurate and up to date.
Support the continuous improvement of planning processes and systems.
Essential Skills & Experience

We're looking for someone who has:

Previous experience in planning, scheduling, coordination, or operational support.
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including a professional telephone manner.
Excellent attention to detail, particularly in data management, documentation, and reporting.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
The ability to quickly learn bespoke planning and management systems.
A positive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Experience

The following would be advantageous but is not essential:

Experience within the traffic management industry.
Experience coordinating or applying for Street Works permits (NRSWA).
Experience using Xero.
Experience working within the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS).
M7 Qualification.
