Job description
We are looking for a detail-oriented experienced Billing Engineer for our origination. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and managing all project billing activities, verifying contractor, Client Billing, and ensuring timely submissions and payments. The role demands a strong understanding of project execution, BOQ, and contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review client and subcontractor bills based on work progress at site.
• Verification of quantities and measurements from drawings and site.
• Preparation and reconciliation of monthly running bills, final bills, and measurement books.
• Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and clients for accurate billing.
• Monitor project costs and ensure billing aligns with budget and work progress.
• Maintain documentation related to billing, work orders, and approvals.
• Follow up on payments and ensure timely receipt from clients.
• Assist in auditing and resolving billing discrepancies.
• Update BOQ and rate analysis as per project requirements.
• Liaise with project managers and finance team for billing-related matters.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
• B. Tech in Civil Engineering or relevant field.
• Proven experience in billing & quantity surveying in construction/infrastructure projects.
• Good understanding of contract terms, billing schedules, BOQ, and rate analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and ERP systems
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
