Job Title: Physics Teacher – AS and A Level

Location: Tardeo
Reports To: Principle
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Physics Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction at the AS and A Level (Cambridge International or equivalent). The ideal candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of advanced Physics concepts and pedagogy, and inspire students to develop analytical thinking and a strong scientific approach.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and rigorous Physics lessons for AS and A Level students following the Cambridge syllabus.
Prepare students thoroughly for internal assessments, Cambridge exams (paper 1, 2, 3, and 5), and practical components.
Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and laboratory exercises that support inquiry-based learning and critical thinking.
Use a variety of teaching techniques, including simulations, demonstrations, and digital tools, to explain complex concepts.
Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, tests, and projects, and provide timely, constructive feedback.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, academic performance, and behavioral observations.
Support students with university preparation, especially for STEM fields, including guidance for Olympiads or entrance exams if applicable.
Collaborate with colleagues in interdisciplinary projects and academic planning.
Participate in professional development, departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school events.
Maintain a safe and well-managed lab environment that aligns with safety protocols and Cambridge requirements.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Physics or a related field (Master’s preferred).
B.Ed. or PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) preferred.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience teaching Physics at AS and A Level (Cambridge or similar).
Thorough knowledge of the Cambridge International curriculum and exam structure.
Experience with practical Physics teaching and lab management.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with educational technology tools (e.g., simulations, virtual labs, interactive whiteboards).
Strong organizational and classroom management skills.
Experience preparing students for competitive exams or international university placements.
Ability to motivate and mentor students with diverse academic abilities.
Compensation:
