Job Overview
• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Web Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for creating innovative web applications. You will work closely with our product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality web solutions that meet our business needs.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead Development Projects: Take ownership of web development projects from concept to completion, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.
• Design and Implement Solutions: Design, develop, and maintain web applications, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and user-friendly.
• Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to define project requirements and specifications.
• Code Review and Mentorship: Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
• Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in web development.
• Debug and Optimize: Identify and fix bugs, and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Security: Ensure the security of web applications by implementing best practices and staying informed about potential vulnerabilities.
• Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for code, processes, and tools.
Qualifications: ∙
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional web development experience. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Technical Skills
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js). o Strong understanding of server-side languages and frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Python, Ruby on Rails).
• Experience with databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services. o Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
Soft Skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. o Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proven ability to mentor and guide junior developers.
Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Degree: Master’s degree in a relevant field. ∙
Certifications: Relevant industry certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate). ∙
• Experience with Agile/Scrum: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in a Scrum environment
