ABOUT SK MEDIA GROUP
SK Media Group is Edmonton's premier real estate media studio. We produce professional HDR photography, cinematic property video tours, aerial drone media, iGuide 3D virtual tours, RMS-compliant floor plans, social media reels, and AI-enhanced visual content — all designed to make every listing unforgettable. We're a growing team that blends technical precision with creative vision, and we're looking for our next photographer/videographer to grow with us.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
▸ Photograph residential property interiors and exteriors using HDR techniques and professional lighting
▸ Capture aerial drone photography and video of properties and surrounding neighbourhoods
▸ Shoot cinematic property walkthrough video tours and short-form social media reels (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
▸ Operate iGuide equipment to produce 3D virtual tours and RMS-compliant floor plans
▸ Assist with basic post-production editing and file organization following SK Media's quality standards
▸ Maintain and care for all company-provided equipment — cameras, lenses, drones, stabilizers, and scanning gear
▸ Travel to property locations across Edmonton and surrounding areas as scheduled
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required:
▸ A genuine interest in photography, videography, and visual storytelling
▸ Reliability — you show up on time, prepared, and ready to deliver
▸ Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
▸ Excellent communication skills for professional interactions with clients
▸ A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle (mileage compensation provided)
▸ Availability for flexible, part-time scheduling including some evenings and weekends
Nice to Have (Assets, Not Requirements):
▸ Previous experience with real estate photography, videography, or media production
▸ Familiarity with DSLR/mirrorless camera systems and manual exposure settings
▸ Drone piloting experience or willingness to obtain an RPAS Basic or Advanced certificate
▸ Experience with editing software such as Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro
▸ Experience with 3D scanning tools (iGuide, Matterport, or similar)
▸ Enrolled in or recently graduated from a photography, film, media, or related program
WHAT WE OFFER
▸ Competitive pay: $22–$35/hr based on experience and skill level
