About the Role
Pitambra Film & Production LLP is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Photographer & Video Editor to join our production team. The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for visual storytelling and be comfortable handling photography, videography, and post-production from concept to final delivery.
Key Responsibilities
• Capture high-quality photographs and video footage for films, productions, events, social media, promotional campaigns, and brand content.
• Plan and execute photo/video shoots according to creative briefs and production requirements.
• Operate cameras, lenses, lighting, audio, gimbals, and other production equipment.
• Set up and manage lighting, framing, composition, and camera angles.
• Edit photographs using tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
• Edit videos using Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
• Perform colour correction, colour grading, sound synchronization, transitions, titles, subtitles, and basic motion graphics.
• Organize and maintain footage, project files, photographs, and backups.
• Collaborate with directors, producers, creative teams, and clients to achieve the desired visual style.
• Deliver projects within agreed timelines and maintain high-quality standards.
• Stay updated with current photography, filmmaking, editing, and social-media content trends.
Required Skills
• Strong photography and videography skills.
• Good understanding of camera settings, composition, lighting, and visual storytelling.
• Proficiency in video and photo editing software.
• Knowledge of colour correction and basic colour grading.
• Ability to shoot both planned productions and fast-paced, on-location content.
• Strong creative sense and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel for shoots when required.
Qualifications
• Diploma/Degree in Photography, Film Making, Mass Communication, Visual Arts, or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant practical experience and a strong portfolio can be considered in place of formal qualifications.
