We are looking for a highly creative and experienced Senior Video Editor who understands emotional storytelling, fundraising psychology, and performance-driven content. This is a leadership role where you will manage a team of editors while ensuring every video achieves the highest quality and donation impact.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage a team of 4–5 Video Editors , ensuring timely delivery of all projects.
• Edit emotionally engaging crowdfunding videos that inspire audiences to donate.
• Transform raw footage into compelling stories that create maximum social impact.
• Develop editing strategies that improve audience retention, engagement, and fundraising performance.
• Mentor junior editors and maintain consistent editing quality across all campaigns.
• Review every video before publishing and ensure it meets the organization's quality standards.
• Coordinate with Content Writers, Creative Directors, Marketing Team, Cinematographers, and Campaign Managers.
• Create high-performing videos for:
• Facebook
• Instagram
• YouTube
• Google Ads
• Crowdfunding Landing Pages
• Edit documentaries, rescue stories, patient journeys, disaster relief campaigns, and NGO impact stories.
• Add professional motion graphics, subtitles, transitions, animations, and sound design.
• Ensure videos are optimized for different social media platforms.
• Stay updated with the latest editing trends, AI editing tools, and social media algorithms.
• Meet strict deadlines while maintaining exceptional creative quality.
Required Skills
• 5–8+ years of professional video editing experience.
• Proven experience editing NGO, fundraising, charity, crowdfunding, humanitarian, healthcare, or documentary content .
• Strong understanding of emotional storytelling and donor psychology.
• Expertise in:
• Adobe Premiere Pro
• Adobe After Effects
• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe Audition
• DaVinci Resolve (Preferred)
• Experience with color grading, sound design, and motion graphics.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with crowdfunding platforms or nonprofit organizations.
• Knowledge of Meta, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube content optimization.
• Experience editing viral fundraising campaigns.
• Understanding of donation-driven storytelling.
• Experience using AI-powered editing tools and workflow automation.
Leadership Responsibilities
• Manage and mentor a team of 4–5 Video Editors.
• Allocate projects and monitor daily productivity.
• Conduct quality checks and provide constructive feedback.
• Train editors on storytelling techniques and platform-specific editing.
• Maintain project timelines and ensure timely campaign delivery.
• Coordinate with management to improve overall creative output.
