Job Description
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Cameraman / Videographer to join our production team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience operating professional camera systems, managing lighting setups, and executing both indoor studio and external outdoor shoots independently and as part of a crew.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Camera Operation & Shoot Execution
Operate DSLR, mirrorless, and cinema cameras (Sony alpha series)
Execute shoots independently across commercial, corporate, and social media productions
Ensure correct frame composition, focus, exposure, and motion for each shot
Follow shot lists, storyboards, and director briefs with minimal supervision
Lighting Setup & Management
Plan and execute lighting setups for studio, interview, product, and event shoots
Work with LED panels, softboxes, reflectors, and grip equipment
Adapt lighting to match brand references, mood boards, and director's vision
Manage power distribution, rigging, and safe equipment placement on set
Outdoor & Location Shoots
Execute exterior shoots across varied environments - urban, architectural, nature, events
Manage natural light conditions and adapt to weather, time-of-day, and location constraints
Handle all logistics of camera and lighting kit transport and setup at remote locations
Scout locations alongside the creative team and provide technical feasibility inputs
Production Support
Maintain, prep, and pack camera gear, lenses, rigs, stabilizers, and accessories
Operate gimbal stabilizers (DJI Ronin or similar) for smooth motion shots
Support video editing team by organizing and labeling footage correctly
Collaborate with directors, editors, and creative team throughout production pipeline
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
2-5 years of proven experience in camera operation and videography
Proficiency with Sony FX / Canon C / Blackmagic Design or similar cinema cameras
Strong knowledge of lighting equipment, modifiers, and grip gear
Experience handling both controlled studio and unpredictable outdoor shoots
Understanding of codecs, frame rates, color profiles (Log/RAW), and storage formats
Ability to operate camera stabilizers, sliders, and support rigs
Eye for composition, movement, and cinematic aesthetics
Strong organizational and time management skills on set
PREFERRED / BONUS SKILLS
Experience with drone operation (DJI series) - DAN/DGCA certification a plus
Basic video editing skills in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
Familiarity with live streaming and multi-camera setups
Prior work on brand films, advertising, or digital content for agencies
Understanding of color grading and on-set LUT/monitor workflows
