We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Counter Assistant to join Taverham Pharmacy. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while assisting with various tasks related to medication administration and patient care. Duties
Greet and assist customers at the counter with professionalism and courtesy.
Process prescriptions and manage medication orders accurately.
Provide information to patients regarding medications, including usage and potential side effects.
Maintain an organised workspace, ensuring that all medications are stored correctly and safely.
Assist in inventory management, including restocking shelves and checking for expired medications.
Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and effectively.
Skills
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Excellent organisational skills, with attention to detail in managing prescriptions and inventory.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
