Job Description
We looking for a dedicated and patient-focused Responsible Pharmacist to lead the day-to-day running of our busy community pharmacy in Chester.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced community pharmacist who enjoys delivering high-quality patient care while working within a friendly, supportive team. You'll play a key role in maintaining clinical standards, developing pharmacy services and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the Responsible Pharmacist during your shift.
Ensure the safe, legal and efficient operation of the pharmacy.
Accurately dispense NHS and private prescriptions.
Deliver NHS services including Pharmacy First, NMS, Hypertension Case Finding, NHS Contraception Service and seasonal vaccinations.
Provide professional advice on medicines and minor illnesses.
Supervise and support the pharmacy team.
Maintain compliance with GPhC standards, SOPs and pharmacy legislation.
Build strong relationships with patients, GP surgeries and other healthcare professionals.
Support the growth of NHS and private pharmacy services.
About You
Must be a GPhC-registered Pharmacist in good standing.
Have previous community pharmacy experience.
Be confident working as a Responsible Pharmacist.
Have excellent communication and leadership skills.
Be organised, proactive and patient-focused.
Be committed to delivering outstanding healthcare and maintaining high professional standards.
