As a Pharmacist at True Drug Pharmacy, you will also conduct health and wellness screenings, provide immunizations, and offer various medical services such as blood pressure and blood sugar level checks.
Responsibilities:
• Compound and dispense medications according to physician prescriptions at True Drug Pharmacy.
• Monitor customers' drug therapies, provide interventions, and inform them about potential side effects at True Drug Pharmacy.
• Instruct customers on how and when to take prescribed medications.
• Conduct health and wellness screenings and provide immunizations.
• Take blood pressure, temperature measurements, and check blood sugar levels.
• Maintain accurate customer records at True Drug Pharmacy.
• Ensure a safe and clean working environment.
• Complete operational requirements of the pharmacy, including verifying order entries and maintaining records of controlled substances.
• Remove expired and/or damaged drugs from the pharmacy’s inventory.
• Adhere to applicable legal rules, regulations, and procedures governing pharmaceutical practice.
• Perform other administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or pharmacology.
• Proven experience as a pharmacist with a valid license to practice at True Drug Pharmacy.
• Detailed understanding of dosage requirements, administration, chemical compounds, and pharmaceutical brands.
• Great organizational skills to manage the pharmacy operations efficiently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
