As a Pharmacist at Billroth Hospitals, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of pharmaceutical services to our patients. Responsibilities:
• Handle medicine requests, dispense medications accurately, and ensure timely collection by patients.
• Receive and manage returned medicines, ensuring proper replacement and storage.
• Organize pharmaceutical supplies in designated areas (cold rooms, fridges, dispensing racks, and pharmacy store) to facilitate safe and efficient dispensing.
• Assist senior Pharmacists in receiving purchased medicines and verifying against purchase orders.
• Support in checking medication expiry dates and participate in physical stock verification processes.
• Prepare extemporaneous preparations under supervision and maintain accurate records.
• Report any breakage or spoilage of medicines promptly to ensure inventory integrity.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm); Master’s degree (M.Pharm) is advantageous.
• Freshers are encouraged to apply; up to 3 years of experience in a hospital pharmacy setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical handling procedures, including dispensing and inventory management.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication handling and documentation.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
• Familiarity with safety standards and protocols in pharmaceutical practices.
• Registered Pharmacist with the State Pharmacy Council.
