Job Description: PGT Physics Teacher (Grade 11 & 12 – CBSE)
Position: Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) – Physics
Department: Senior Secondary School
Reporting to: Academic Coordinator / Principal

Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Physics lessons for CBSE Grade 11 and 12 students.
Develop lesson plans, assessment tools, and learning resources aligned with CBSE curriculum and standards.
Prepare students for CBSE Board Examinations with a focus on conceptual clarity, problem-solving, and analytical thinking.
Conduct regular assessments, provide timely feedback, and track student progress.
Use innovative teaching methodologies including practical demonstrations, experiments, and technology integration to enhance learning.
Guide students in laboratory experiments and ensure safety standards are maintained.
Provide academic support and mentorship to students for competitive exams like JEE, NEET (preferred).
Collaborate with other faculty members and participate in departmental meetings, workshops, and school events.
Maintain discipline, punctuality, and create a positive learning environment.
Engage with parents during PTMs to discuss student performance and development.
Support school-wide initiatives and contribute to the overall growth of the academic program.
Required Qualifications:
Postgraduate degree (M.Sc.) in Physics.
B.Ed. (Mandatory).
Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience in CBSE curriculum for Grades 11 & 12.
Desired Skills:
Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with CBSE syllabus and exam patterns.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Ability to engage, motivate, and inspire senior secondary students.
Proficient in using digital teaching tools and MS Office.
Commitment to student success and continuous professional development.
Preferred:
Experience in preparing students for competitive exams like JEE/NEET is an added advantage.
