Personal Caregiver

Description of the role:

The Personal Caregiver role at Senior Helpers - Lee's Summit is a crucial position that involves providing compassionate and supportive care to individuals in their homes. As a Personal Caregiver, you will assist clients with various activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, medication reminders, and meal preparation. Additionally, you will provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the overall well-being of the clients.

Responsibilities:
• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Administer medication reminders to ensure clients adhere to their prescribed regimens.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding, if necessary.
• Engage in meaningful conversations and provide companionship to clients.
• Monitor and report any changes in client's health or behavior to the appropriate individuals.
• Perform light housekeeping duties, such as tidying up common areas and doing laundry.

Requirements:
• Prior experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with clients and their families.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate nature.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
