Overview of the Role:
We're looking for an organized and progressive People Associate to join our small but brilliant People team.
This role is perfect for a true generalist with a strong understanding of HR matters in a dynamic business.
The successful candidate will be motivated by the opportunity to make an impact and create lasting engagement initiatives.
Core Responsibilities:
Employment Law: Work with the Chief People Officer (CPO) to provide guidance on employment law and ensure policies and procedures remain intuitive and up-to-date.
People Analytics: Collate and analyze employee data to provide actionable insights and work with the CPO to use these insights to drive improvements across organizational design, compensation strategy, employee engagement, and culture.
Culture:
Assist the CPO with quarterly culture and values programs aligned with the People team's OKRs.
Research and propose employee engagement initiatives to build a culture of innovation, wellbeing, rewarding work, and fun.
Research and propose new benefits that support our company culture.
Communicate our People frameworks, policies, and processes to the business to ensure everyone understands how we operate.
Performance Management:
Manage the Company's performance review process, ensuring all Managers understand the process and complete reviews with the defined cadence.
Provide guidance to Managers on managing performance.
Oversee the new joiner onboarding and induction program, including probation objectives and company/ team briefings.
Assist the CPO in defining clear performance criteria used consistently across the business.
LD:
Collaborate with the CPO to curate content and deliver quarterly internal workshops on relevant topics aligned with the People team's OKRs.
Assist the CPO in developing our Professional Development process and manage it once live.
HR Tech Guardian:
Protect the integrity of the data held within our HRIS system to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Induct new joiners to the HRIS system to ensure it remains an integral part of the business.
Promote Pension and Wellbeing apps to employees, highlighting the exceptional investment in their employment.
Transactional:
Administer Employment Contracts, Addendums, Probation confirmation letters, FTC extensions, Contractor Agreements, Holiday balances, EMI Scheme paperwork, Visa paperwork, and Right to Work in UK document checks.
Track contract renewals and probation expiry dates proactively.
Prepare monthly payroll files for processing, ensuring accurate inputs to avoid delays.
About You:
We're looking for someone with at least CIPD Level 3, but also happy to consider experienced candidates working towards their CIPD certification.
The ideal candidate will be committed to personal growth, stay up-to-date with developments in Employment Law, Strategies for high-performance management, and trends in Employee Engagement.
You should be a creative problem solver, able to leverage Emotional Intelligence to manage mediation meetings, and have excellent attention to detail.
The successful candidate will take pride in their responsibilities, proactively seeking potential issues before they impact the business.
