Job Description
Position: PC & Laptop Tester
Location: Andheri west
Department: Quality Control / Technical Operations
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary Budget -15,000 to 20,000
About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled PC & Laptop Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, testing, troubleshooting, and ensuring the quality and performance of desktops, laptops, and related hardware before dispatch or deployment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform functional testing of PCs, laptops, and computer hardware.
Check and verify hardware components such as RAM, SSD/HDD, motherboard, battery, display, keyboard, ports, speakers, webcam, etc.
Install and test operating systems, drivers, and basic software applications.
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
Conduct stress tests, benchmark tests, and performance checks.
Ensure devices meet company quality standards before delivery.
Maintain accurate testing reports and inventory records.
Coordinate with technicians and operations teams regarding repairs or replacements.
Identify recurring technical issues and report them to management.
Follow testing procedures, checklists, and quality protocols.
Requirements
Basic to advanced knowledge of computer hardware and laptops.
Understanding of Windows installation, drivers, BIOS, and system diagnostics.
Ability to identify hardware faults and technical issues.
Familiarity with testing tools and troubleshooting methods.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Basic knowledge of networking and peripherals is an advantage.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Prior experience in computer testing, repair, or IT support is preferred.

Qualification
Diploma / Degree in IT, Computer Hardware, Electronics, or related field preferred.
