About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll & Systems Specialist to join our Finance team. This role is critical in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll, maintaining financial records, and supporting system optimisation initiatives across the business. You’ll play a key role in ensuring compliance with legislation, improving processes, and supporting stakeholders with payroll and financial insights. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with legislation, tax and superannuation requirements Maintain payroll records including employee data, salary changes, leave balances, and terminations Prepare and submit payroll reports, statutory obligations, and support payroll audits Ensure compliance with company policies, financial controls, and maintain confidentiality of payroll and financial data Support financial operations including reconciliations, expense processing, invoicing, and month/year-end activities Maintain payroll and finance systems, including master data, reporting and supporting system upgrades and enhancements About you Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Payroll, or related field Minimum 5 years’ experience in payroll and finance administration Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, taxation, and accounting principles Experience with payroll and accounting systems such as Xero or Rippling Intermediate to advanced Excel skills Exposure to fixed assets and reconciliations Key Skills & Attributes High attention to detail and accuracy Strong organisation and time management skills Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Why Join Us? About you
