Title:
Part-Time Math Instructor for a Games-Based Learning Program
Location:
Bangalore (Should be able to commute regularly to Whitefield)
Job Type:
Part-Time (6-10 hours per week). Should be available in the evenings between 4 PM - 7 PM on weekdays and optionally on Saturdays.
About Us:
Hands-on Math is on a mission to help students develop deep-conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills through play. We teach Math through manipulatives, games and open activities while avoiding worksheets and repeated drills. We run independent after-school programs at multiple communities around Bangalore.

Role Overview:
We are looking for energetic, creative instructors to lead our offline after-school math sessions for children aged 5 to 12. You’ll guide small groups of kids through structured activities and games designed to develop essential math skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct engaging 60-minute math sessions twice a week per batch.
Set up and pack up session materials before and after each session.
Facilitate learning through interactive games, hands-on activities, and creative challenges.
Ensure a supportive environment where kids feel motivated and excited about math.
Monitor student progress and provide feedback.
What We’re Looking For:
Strong passion for teaching and working with kids.
Comfort with basic math concepts.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Creative problem-solver who can think on their feet.
Prior teaching/tutoring experience is a plus but not required.
What We Offer:
Competitive compensation
- Rs. 500 per hour or as a percentage of student fees whichever is higher.
