Salary Up to £20.00 per hour

We have an opportunity for a Painter and Decorator to join their team of staff in the Maintenance department. The role will be based at The Saxon Clinic however the successful candidate will be required to work at both The Saxon Clinic and The Manor Hospital.
This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.
Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria
• Current Construction Safety Certification Scheme (CSCS) Card at appropriate level of qualification (Persons without the appropriate card will not be considered).
• Trained on high working, including Pasma/Ladder use.
• Ability to hang all types and styles of wall coverings e.g. wide width, fabric and paper backed etc.
• Ability to work under own initiative in a methodical process as required.
• Alternatively, part qualifications in Engineering training programme or part completed apprenticeship and specialised in Painting / Decorating afterwards.
• Previous experience in working alongside Contractors and others.
• Driving licence essential
• Experienced with painting, decorating and minor building works
Duties Of This Role Include
• The provision of a Painting and Decorating service to CHG Facilities covering both internal and external aspects of the premises
• Provide touch up and fabric refurbishment service on both a reactive and rolling programme basis.
• Provide competent advice on the redecoration and fabric repair requirements throughout the facilities.
• To provide redecoration in line with CHG property lease obligations
