Position: Package Responsible Engineer (PRE) for Rotary / Static Equipment
Education: Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical engineering or related field.
Experience: 12-15 years
Tools/Software’s: Aveva Engineering, MS Office, IFS
Location: Stavanger, Norway (Onsite)
Industries: Oil and Gas, Chemical Plants
Positions: 1 Nos.
Joining: Immediate to 30-day joiners are preferred.
Responsibility
The skilled and proactive Package Responsible Engineer (PRE) for Rotary / Static Equipment. In this role, engineer will be responsible for the complete technical follow-up of equipment packages—from specification and procurement to manufacturing, testing, delivery, and final handover. This includes acting as the main technical liaison between suppliers, engineering disciplines, procurement, and the client. The role demands strong coordination skills, a solid technical background, and the ability to manage risks and interfaces across all phases of project execution.
Key Responsibilities
• Act as the technical lead for rotary/static equipment packages such as compressors, pumps, turbines, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and other mechanical/static items
• Prepare and review technical documentation, including specifications, datasheets, and procurement packages.
• Technical evaluations and procurement support in bidding & supplier selection.
• Ensure supplier deliverables comply with applicable codes, project specifications, and client requirements.
• Follow up on supplier progress, documentation, quality control, and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).
• Coordinate interfaces with other engineering disciplines and project stakeholders.
Participate in technical clarification meetings, design reviews, and risk assessments.
• Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and handover phases.
Maintain thorough documentation and regularly update progress reporting systems
• Solid understanding of international standards such as API, ISO, ASME, DNV, Danish legislation
