Role Description The Outdoor Wireman for Railway Signalling is a full-time, on-site role based in Agra and Jhansi. The role involves installing, routing, and terminating outdoor signalling cables and electrical wiring along railway tracks and associated structures. Daily tasks include reading and following technical drawings, wiring panels and signalling equipment, assisting with testing and commissioning of circuits, and performing routine inspections to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance. The Outdoor Wireman will work closely with engineers and technicians, adhere to safety protocols, maintain tools and materials, and document work completed according to project and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong skills in Electricity and basic electrical safety practices.
• Candidates should possess practical skills in Cabling and Electrical Wiring for outdoor and industrial environments.
• Candidates should possess experience in Panel Wiring and connecting control and signalling equipment.
• Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of Electronics related to railway signalling components.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and layout drawings.
• Previous experience in railway, industrial, or construction electrical work is beneficial.
• Strong focus on safety, ability to work outdoors in varying conditions, and physical fitness for field work.
• Relevant technical qualification or certification in electrical or electronics trade is preferred.
• Effective teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
