Job Description
Role Description - Account Manager
- Orient Capital is looking for a full-time Account Manager - Investor Relations to be based out of Mumbai.
- The individual will be responsible for maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders, providing insightful advice and strategic communication, and preparing reports and analysis related to investor relations.
- The successful candidate for this role will be a key point of contact for both the company and the clients, and will work in close collaboration with various teams and departments to ensure the smooth delivery of investor relations services.
- Responsible for developing IR collaterals like presentations, press releases and other key documents
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain proactive relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Advanced knowledge of financial markets, regulations, and disclosure requirements, with experience in advising listed companies.
- Strong connections and reach with the Capital Market participants
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (strong presentation and excel skills) with knowledge of other relevant tools and platforms such as Factset, Capital IQ etc is preferred
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple deadlines, and deliver high-quality work within a defined timeline.
- Strong attention to detail, with an ability to review and edit complex documents and reports.
- Expected to be a people leader who can train subordinates and guide them in day to day operations
Qualifications
- MBA or equivalent with a good academic background. CFA is preferred.
- A minimum of 6-12 years of experience in investor relations, equity research, or related fields is required
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
