What you’ll be doing:

If you know your way around apple orchards, you’ll recognise what’s needed each day to get the job done right. At Mr Apple, you’ll work alongside experienced growers who are ready to help you sharpen your skills and learn new approaches. Your focus will be making sure the orchard runs smoothly and efficiently, so every season delivers top results.

The work changes with the seasons—tree care, orchard maintenance, and training others are all part of the role. Safety matters here, and you’ll be expected to set the standard, showing the team what it means to work smart and safe every day.

You’ll have the chance to use the latest technology and try new tools and systems. If you’re keen to improve how things are done and get involved with automation, you’ll find plenty of opportunities to put your ideas to work.

Who you are:

Experience working in horticulture or strong transferable experience
Strong skills in communication, organisation, and time management
Interested in learning and adapting to new changes
Enthusiastic, reliable, and proactive
Enjoy working outdoors and being hands-on
You’re reliable and so is your transport
Eligible to work in New Zealand and able to pass pre-employment checks
