Job Summary
Devon Eye Clinic has an excellent opportunity available for a full time or part time Optician/Optometric Assistant with sales experience to join our full scope optometric practice. Our eye care clinic is in the heart of downtown Devon where we have been serving patients for over 45 years. Experience in the optical industry is an asset. In house training will be available. No weekends or late nights!
Responsibilities
Providing exceptional professional and friendly service to patients.
Strong people skills to troubleshoot and problem solve concerns and issues.
Educate patients on eyewear options and assist with frame selection, lens selection and measurements.
Dispense, adjust and repair eyewear.
Process transactions accurately in the point-of-sale system.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the examination rooms and retail area.
Skills
Strong sales skills to effectively promote optical products and services.
Previous optical experience as well as experience in retail sales is highly desirable.
Proficiency using a computer.
Passionate for delivering excellent customer service.
Strong communication skills and able to work well with a team.
