About the role
This is a busy and varied role at the heart of our business, providing essential administrative and coordination support to keep things running smoothly day to day. From reporting and invoicing to problem-solving and coordination, you’ll play an important role in supporting the team and helping drive operational success.
The role will be split across two locations, with 3 days onsite at NZ Steel in Waiuku and 2 days at our Head Office in East Tamaki.
What you’ll be doing
Managing timesheets and ensuring all people and plant movements are accurately accounted for and charged accordingly
Processing invoicing for all jobs
Raising purchase orders and helping keep the branch running smoothly
Maintaining up-to-date compliance records, including training and health & safety documentation
Being the first point of contact for office queries and day-to-day support
Maintaining accurate systems, records, and databases
Supporting the operations team with coordination and day-to-day administration
What we’re looking for
Experience in administration or coordination experience
Accounts background would be highly advantageous
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Confident communication and a proactive approach
Comfortable using Microsoft Office and accounting systems
Ability to juggle priorities and stay calm under pressure
A positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed
