Online Ansys Maxwell, Rotordynamics, Project-based learning, Design for Manufacturing, Engineering M
Job Description
I come from a software/ML background and am currently learning mechanical-engineering fundamentals. I now want to develop a strong systems-level understanding of both the mechanical and electrical sides of an EV, with emphasis on practical design, simulation and eventually building projects.
Areas of interest include:
Engineering Mechanics, Machine Design and Strength of Materials
Vehicle Dynamics and Automotive Engineering
EV Powertrain and Drivetrain Design
PMSM/BLDC Motors and Electric Machines
Electromagnetics and Motor Design
Inverters and Power Electronics
FOC and Motor Control
Batteries, BMS and EV Electrical Architecture
Thermal Management and Heat Transfer
Vibrations, NVH and Rotordynamics
Materials and Manufacturing
FEA and CFD
MATLAB/Simulink
Ansys Maxwell, Motor-CAD, Mechanical and Fluent
CAD, GD&T and Design for Manufacturing
I am not looking for exam or assignment help. I want a mentor who can explain engineering concepts intuitively, connect theory to real EV systems, and guide me through calculations, simulations and progressively more practical projects.
Real automotive, EV, electric-motor, powertrain, CAE or vehicle-development industry experience is strongly preferred.
The mentor does not need to specialize deeply in every area above. Someone with strong expertise in either EV mechanical/powertrain engineering or EV electrical/motor engineering, along with good cross-disciplinary understanding, would be a good fit.
I am looking for long-term mentorship, ideally with regular online sessions and a project-based learning approach.
Level: Masters/Postgraduate
