Job Summary: The Office Boy provides essential support to ensure the smooth operation of the office by handling various administrative and facility-related tasks. This role involves assisting with office maintenance, managing office supplies, and supporting staff with general clerical duties.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administrative Support:
• Perform general office tasks such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
• Assist with document preparation and distribution.
• Office Maintenance:
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of common areas, including meeting rooms, restrooms, and kitchen areas.
• Set up and arrange furniture and equipment for meetings and events.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Facility Management:
• Manage office supplies inventory, including ordering and stocking supplies as needed.
• Ensure that office equipment is functioning correctly and report any issues.
• Maintain and manage the cleanliness of office equipment, including printers and coffee machines.
• Customer and Staff Support:
• Greet visitors and clients, directing them to the appropriate staff or meeting rooms.
• Answer basic inquiries and provide general assistance to staff and visitors.
• Support staff with various tasks, such as running errands or handling deliveries.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Follow office safety and security protocols.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in office administration is a plus.
• Experience: Previous experience in an office support role is preferred but not required.
• Skills:
• Basic knowledge of office equipment and procedures.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
