Job Description
A busy primary care practice in Hastings is looking for an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join its clinical team on a permanent part-time basis.
This is an opportunity for an NP who enjoys working with a broad primary care population and wants a genuinely part-time position with the flexibility to maintain a healthy balance outside of work.
The practice is ideally looking for someone available 2–3 days per week, with some flexibility around which days are worked.
Your Role
You'll work as an autonomous clinician within a supportive multidisciplinary primary care team, assessing and managing patients across a broad range of presentations.
Your day may include acute presentations, long-term condition management, preventative health, prescribing, follow-up care and general primary care consultations.
You'll work closely with the practice's GPs, nursing team and other healthcare professionals, while maintaining the clinical autonomy expected of an experienced Nurse Practitioner.

About You
We're looking for a Nurse Practitioner who is confident working autonomously while also enjoying being part of a collaborative primary care team.
Ideally, you will:
Hold current Nurse Practitioner registration in New Zealand
Hold a current Annual Practising Certificate
Have experience working in primary care, general practice or a related clinical environment
Be comfortable assessing and managing a broad range of presentations
Have strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
Value continuity of care and building relationships with patients
