Job Description
Position : Node JS developer
Technical Skills Required :
- Strong understanding of Javascript using current design patterns/practices, especially as it applies to building flexible NodeJS and ReactJS applications.
- Experience with web application development frameworks and tools like React, Express, webpack.
- Creating RESTful web services /API's using Node.js with or without framework assistance (e.g. Express).
- Very Good knowledge of jQuery (Mandatory).
- Good understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3 (Mandatory).
-Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
- Unit Test development.
- Good knowledge of Responsive Design.
- Experience with JS testing and code analysis frameworks like Mocha, Istanbul, JSLint, JSHint, Jasmine.
- Experience with NoSQL document-based data stores like MongoDB and designing suitable data models.
Familiarity with Application UX Designs.
- Experience with source control, work item tracking, and build management with Bitbucket (or similar).
- Solid understanding of the OOPS concept.
- Modular programming techniques.
- Well versed of code review and code scanning tools.
- PL/SQL programming language will be an added advantage.
- AWS serverless Architecture, Lambda, Elastic Search, Redis will be added advantage.
Must Have :
1. Should have a strong communication skills
2. Should be able to deal with client.
3. Should be able to mentore 2-3 Junior people and guide them with best coding standards and techniques.
Responsibility :
1. Mentor and lead a team of junior developers.
2. Take up system analysis, design, documenting responsibilities and get it done in time. He/ she should be able to perform code analyzing and reading exercises for current and previous projects.
3. The Sr. developer will lead developers; Apart from this he will/ can be involved in the coding activities besides the team management role. All necessary support will be provided for smooth execution of projects. The senior developers will keep a track and reviews on existing projects to identify bottlenecks, bugs, performance issues and involve the team to study and learn from existing projects.
4. Must be able to advise ways and means to obtain performance metrics of applications and optimize applications.
5. Must possess excellent attention to detail and be able to familiarize and quickly learn new Software/ framework/ languages/ technology with ease.
6. Must be able to apply innovative thinking at work.
UG : B.Sc in Any Specialization, BCA in Any Specialization, B.Tech/B.E. in Any Specialization
