Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Node.js Developer to join our development team. As a Node.js Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing server-side applications and APIs using Node.js. Your primary focus will be on building scalable and high-performance applications that meet our clients' needs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, designers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop server-side applications and APIs using Node.js.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and designers to integrate server-side logic with user interfaces.
• Implement and maintain data storage solutions, such as databases, and ensure data security and integrity.
• Develop reusable and efficient code that adheres to best practices and coding standards.
• Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability.
• Conduct unit tests and debugging to identify and fix software defects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and specifications.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to development guidelines.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Node.js and related technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Should have 7-8 yrs of IT-proven experience as a Node.js Developer or a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js frameworks (e.g., Express.js, Koa.js).
• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Knowledge of databases and data storage solutions (e.g., MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills."
