Job Title: Night Patrol Security Officer (Full-Time)

Job Type: Full-Time, In-Person (Overnight Shifts, Including Weekends)
Overview
Centaur Security Services is seeking a vigilant, dependable, and professional Night Patrol Security Officer to join our team immediately. This full-time position is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of assigned premises during overnight hours. The ideal candidate is observant, proactive, and able to respond effectively to a range of security situations while working independently.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct regular patrols of assigned facilities and surrounding areas.
Monitor for suspicious activity, security breaches, and safety hazards.
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies.
Observe, document, and report all irregularities and incidents clearly and thoroughly.
Enforce company and client security policies and follow detailed post orders.
Maintain accurate logs of patrols, observations, and incidents.
Assist in de-escalating conflicts professionally and calmly.
Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary and support investigations.
Ensure all security equipment (including CCTV and alarms) is operational; report malfunctions promptly.
Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.
Qualifications & Requirements
Valid state-issued guard card (required).
Clean driving record (DMV report required).
Full-time overnight availability, including weekends.
Strong observational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Physically fit to perform regular patrol duties during overnight hours.
Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military, or related fields preferred (not required).
Certifications in first aid, CPR, or conflict management are highly desirable.
Knowledge of surveillance systems (e.g., CCTV) is a plus.
Ability to stay calm and effective under pressure.
