Job Description
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor breaking and developing international news
• Identify stories relevant to a U.S. audience
• Research stories using credible and reliable sources
• Write, edit, and fact-check news articles
• Verify facts, figures, names, dates, and quotes
• Develop effective headlines and engaging story introductions
• Follow major developments across politics, business, technology, science, conflicts, diplomacy, and other areas of international news
• Work closely with editors and incorporate feedback
• Meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and editorial quality
🎓 Who Can Apply?
• Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of relevant experience
• Completed degree/diploma in Journalism, Mass Communication, Communications, or a related field
• Strong English writing and communication skills
• Good research and fact-checking abilities
• Strong interest in international news and current affairs
• Basic understanding of journalistic principles and news writing
• Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment
• Curiosity, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
🚀 Internship & Full-Time Opportunity
• Internship Duration: 3 Months
• The internship will provide hands-on experience in professional news writing, research, editing, fact-checking, and international news coverage.
• Based on performance during theinternship, selected candidates will have the opportunity to transition into a full-time role with IBT Media Pvt. Ltd.
• Performance will be evaluated based on writing quality, accuracy, research skills, consistency, productivity, ability to meet deadlines, and adherence to editorial standards.
