Must be aged between 25 - 65 years old for Insurance Purposes.
Long Driving Days likely.
Must live within easy commute of Upper Heyford, Oxon and have your own car for commuting.

Experienced TPD’s (Trade Plate Drivers) or Demonstration Drivers preferred but not essential as training will be given.

Be your own boss, running your own car/van delivery service all over the UK, based from Upper Heyford (OX25 5HA) where your day will typically start/end. Be excited about driving all over the UK to handover new cars and planning your return trip via public transport.

As a Self Employed worker, You pay for your public transport costs to return to Upper Heyford but we’re happy to provide our preferred contractors with an optional PrePaid MasterCard to help you with your cash-flow. Most of our contractors clear profit of between £75 - £150 per day depending on mileage.

All jobs are on a fixed price mileage-basis, we work with numerous clients to source jobs and plan your day as efficiently as possible in order to cut down on your public transport costs wherever possible.

We reimburse all To-The-Driveway expenses (fuel, EV Charge etc.).

Operations are Monday to Friday with early starts and late finishes likely. Your specific jobs are allocated in advance, subject to your weekly availability. This is a contracted/self-employed role; we will fit in with your weekly availability; 1 day to 5 days per week, up to you, just give us one week's availability notice and stick to it, that's all we ask. we'll provide you with work to match your availability.

Experience with new car handovers is desirable but not essential as all training will be provided. However, you must be presentable, possess amazing customer service skills, a working knowledge of vehicles, tech-savvy, strong attention to detail, public transport planning ability and happy to work long days on the road delivering new cars to customers across the country.

This is a self-employed vocation not a job; Experienced drivers know that the days can be long but it’s satisfying work with plenty of time to yourself e.g. when driving the new car to your customer and often sitting on a train on your way back home.

YOUR ROLE:

As a Brand Ambassador you will have a customer first approach and will be excited about the essential part you play in making your customer’s ‘New Car Day’ a special and immersive experience.

Starting and ending each day from our base in Upper Heyford, you will drive new cars and vans to customer driveways or businesses all over the UK, hand them over to the customer and then make your own way back to base using public transport at your cost however, we try very hard to provide you with nearby collection cars from our large pool of clients to get you back as close to Upper Heyford as possible.

Your jobs are paid at a fixed price based on distance. You have the opportunity to plan your trips two days in advance so as to achieve the lowest cost public transport advance-booking fares, thereby increasing your profits. You also have the opportunity to take delivery cars home in order to get an early start next morning - assuming you have safe parking available at home however, you will need your own car to get to Upper Heyford at the start of your day.

You will be required to complete POC/POD (Proof Of Collect Delivery) reports via a mobile app on your phone. Cars must be delivered clean and with the required amount of fuel or EV charge.

OUR ROLE:

Matching your available working-days each week, our efficient planning team will provide you with your delivery and collection jobs (subject to availability) in advance so you can plan your trip, pre-book Trains and Planes and achieve the best advance-ticket pricing allowing you to make each job as profitable as possible.

Invoice Payment via bank transfer is every two weeks, one week in arrears.

What kind of person we are looking for:

· The ability to drive all types of vehicles from small city cars to prestigious electric cars and vans, both automatic and manual.

· Must be well presented, self-sufficient and able to deliver a high level of customer service.

· Tech Savvy.

· Good geographical knowledge of the UK road and public transport networks

· Flexible and adaptable

· The ability to work under pressure within a dynamic transport environment.

· It will be advantageous If you have experience with New Car Handovers or Trade Plate Deliveries including EV’s (Electric Vehicles) but not essential.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Minimum 2-years driving experience (insurance company requirement).
2. Minimum age: 25, Maximum 65 (insurance company requirement).
3. Full UK License with no more than 6 points for minor offences only and no DR, IN, CD, DD or TT++ endorsement codes can appear on your Licence (insurance company requirement).
4. Off road parking i.e. garage/driveway at your registered address for those times when you might take a vehicle home overnight (not a deal breaker).
6. Confident with driving Cars, Vans, Auto, Manual, Electric or Petrol.
7. A modern smartphone with a plan including data.
8. Fluent spoken and written English
+. Must live in commuting distance of Upper Heyford and have your own car to commute with.
10. A clear DBS Certificate (see note below).

WHAT DO WE PROVIDE?:

1. Regular, reliable work available in a high-growth environment.
2. Trade Plates if required.
3. Training.
4. Your Invoice will be generated by our system and paid bi-weekly, one week in arrears.
5. Support via Telephone and WhatsApp Group.

Schedule:

· Monday to Friday - No weekend work. Starting ASAP.

· Choose as many full days per week as you wish.

Work authorisation: UK Citizen or Unrestricted Right-To-Work (Share Code will be required)
