Legal Assistant - Building, Construction Infrastructure

The Building, Construction Infrastructure team in our Brisbane office is looking for a Legal Assistant to support a Partner and their team of 3 Lawyers. As a Legal Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

Answering phone calls and assisting with client enquiries;
Preparing documents;
Diary management;
Occasional Dictaphone typing;
Billing;
File management; and
General administrative assistance.


Who We Are Looking For

The team is flexible and will consider either a law student provided that the commitment is for 18 months, or an experienced legal assistant. The role is full time. Out of hours work is almost never required. Most important is the ability to prioritise tasks, display initiative, have good attention to detail and a dedication and loyalty to the team.
