Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Junior Network Engineer to support the installation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure. The role focuses on switches, VLANs, wireless access points, and firewalls, with opportunities to learn and grow in enterprise networking and security.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in installation and configuration of network switches (L2/L3)
Configure and manage VLANs, access ports, and trunk ports
Support deployment and basic configuration of Wireless Access Points (APs)
Assist in firewall configuration including basic policies, NAT, and VPN support
Monitor network performance and escalate issues when required
Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi)
Maintain network documentation, IP addressing records, and diagrams
Coordinate with senior engineers and vendors for issue resolution
Provide on-site and remote network support as needed
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
Exposure to Cisco, Sonicwall, FortiGate, Sophos, Aruba, Netgear, TP-Link, Quantum or similar devices
Basic knowledge of routing (static routes)
Awareness of VPN concepts
CCNA / equivalent certification or currently pursuing
Education & Experience
· Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
· 1–2 years of experience with strong networking knowledge
Additional Requirements:
Ability to work independently and in a team
Willingness to travel to client sites (if required)
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
2-wheeler is mandatory for site travel
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
Experience:
VPN: 2 years (Preferred)
Firewall: 2 years (Preferred)
