You’ll play a key role delivering building services projects across commercial, retail, civic and education sectors, while continuing to grow your technical capability and career.
This role suits an engineer who enjoys hands-on technical work, wants ownership of projects, and values being part of a strong, quality-focused engineering team.
What you’ll do
Deliver mechanical engineering design and documentation across building services projects
Lead small to medium projects and contribute as a key project engineer
Work closely with clients and project teams to coordinate design outcomes
Produce high-quality technical reports and written outputs
Support and mentor graduate engineers
Contribute to a collaborative, technically strong team environment
Must haves
4–7 years’ experience in mechanical engineering within building services (Australia or New Zealand)
Strong communication skills, including report writing and stakeholder engagement
Washington Accord-recognised degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
Solid understanding of the Australian building services environment (including NCC)
A strong interest in technical excellence and ongoing development
Nice to haves
Experience across commercial, retail, civic, education or similar sectors
Experience leading small to medium projects
Familiarity with heat load modelling software (e.g. Camel, IES or similar)
Progression towards RPEQ or CPENG accreditation
