Job Description
A. Position Purpose
The Role is to lead Underwriting team for Gold Loan to the salaried and Self Employed segment including underwriting digital financing products and overall portfolio monitoring
B. Position Responsibilities
Sr.
Key Responsibilities
1
Appraising proposals for Gold Loans sourced through RBL branch network or otherwise
2
Deploy credit policy which is aligned with business strategy and targeted customer segment
3
Develop various underwriting models using alternate data through AI/ML and build scorecards.
4
Study, Analysis and interpretation of valuation and other check mechanism used in Gold loan lending
5
Continuously improvise underwriting capability based on portfolio performance
6
Actively partner with business heads and structure /arrive at customized solutions
7
Audit compliance on all aspects stipulated by Head office and regulatory compliances
8
Maintaining and reporting of various MIS to monitor portfolio performance and risk monitoring of loan accounts

Fulfilling the credit training needs of entire business and credit team
10
Leading, mentoring monitoring the performance of the team members to ensure efficiency in process and operations
11
Creating and sustaining a dynamic environment that fosters development opportunities and motivates high performance among team members
C. Qualifications and Experience Requirement

10+ Experience in gold loan Industry preferably in bank
